Tomas Sedlacek is PhD candidate at Charles University with dissertation thesis topic: Selected Chapters from the History of Economic Thought.
The thesis maps the formation of economic anthropology from the Epic of Gilgamesh till modern days. He graduated with honors at Charles University. With master’s thesis on “The Ethics of Homo Oeconomicus” received the award of the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. His bachelor thesis on the „Economic thought of Thomas Aquinas” received a prestigious award from the foundation “Nadání Josefa, Marie a Zdenky Hlávkových” and was reprinted in Political Economy, influential Czech academic journal. He is lecturer at Charles University with following topics:
Philosophy and Economic, Ethics and Economics, History of Economic Thought, Current Economic Affairs, Alternative Economic Thought and Rhetoric. Tomas Sedlacek is frequent lecturer and debater at public events, domestic and international conferences and media. We mention lectures at University of New York Prague and Anglo-American University with topic: Ethics for Businesses and public Administration. Frequently visiting lecturer for other universities and seminars mainly on transformation and EU accession (for ex. MBA Georgetown global residency programs, Czech Diplomatic Academy etc).
